I’m Bas Raven freelance 3D character animator and animation lecturer. I’ve worked on feature films and commercials, and I now also mentor emerging animators like you who are ready to enter the industry.

• 1 on 1 Mentoring Trajectory (1–3 months): Weekly calls and feedback moments to work on your professional skills, animation workflow, communication, and positioning as an animator.

• Group calls (depending on the size of the cohort): focused on professional skills: giving/receiving feedback, presenting yourself as an animator, navigating production pipelines.

• Reel Feedback: Honest, detailed feedback on your shot selection, edit and presentation.
  

Why I offer this:

Many animation students graduate with strong visual skills but little insight into how actual productions work. I want to offer what I missed: direct insight into what animators do in real productions, and how to thrive in those roles.
