I’m Bas Raven, freelance 3D character animator and animation lecturer. I’ve worked on feature films, commercials and other animation projects in the Netherlands.

I also mentor aspiring animators who are looking to enter the industry.

Do you ever feel there's a gap between what you've learned so far and what the animation industry is actually looking for? Many aspiring animators spend years improving their animation skills, yet still feel unsure about what it takes to start working professionally. Over the years I've seen this struggle both in my own career and in the students I've taught.

I share the lessons, insights, and industry knowledge I've gained throughout my career to help you turn your passion for animation into professional opportunities. If becoming a working animator is your goal, you're in the right place.
